Melleruds Handel, Dalsland's largest shopping centre, has taken an important step towards the sustainable transport of the future by investing in charging infrastructure for both trucks and cars. With its strategic location next to the E45 motorway, the shopping centre will now be a central charging point along the Inlandsvägen road - an investment that both benefits people passing through and helps to electrify deliveries for tenants.
Fast and reliable charging around the clock
By early 2025, two Delta HPC 350 charging stations have been installed on the shopping centre site, enabling DC charging for both heavy and light vehicles. To ensure a smooth and comfortable charging experience, the stations are equipped with weather protection - a detail that makes charging more accessible regardless of weather conditions.
The ambition of the charging stations is clear:
- Increase accessibility for electric vehicles along the E45 motorway.
- Facilitate tenants to progressively switch their supply to electricity.
- Contribute to sustainable transport by offering fast and reliable charging around the clock.
Through this investment, Melleruds Handel strengthens its role as a modern trading centre and an important part of the growing public charging infrastructure in the region.
A strategic investment in the future
The transition from fossil fuels to electric transport requires the establishment of more charging points in strategic locations, especially along major transport routes. With this investment, Melleruds Handel is showing that it is at the forefront of adapting to a new era of sustainable mobility.
Svensk Fordonsladdning has been involved in making this establishment possible through a complete solution - from project planning to installation and operation and maintenance. With the charging stations in place, Melleruds Handel is ready to welcome more electric vehicles and continue to be an attractive destination for both customers and transport operators.
