Supplier Code of Conduct

Svensk Fordonsladdning wants to create added value for customers, employees, suppliers and owners, while contributing to sustainable development. We work actively with climate and environmental measures and a strong social commitment. We also uphold good business ethics and strive for long-term and trusting relationships.

Svensk Fordonsladdning's code of conduct contains values for all employees and those acting on behalf of Svensk Fordonsladdning. These principles are translated into requirements for our suppliers in this code of conduct for our suppliers. With an international supplier base, these requirements give us an opportunity to uphold the change we want to see in the world.

This code of conduct requires that our suppliers show respect for human rights, protect diversity and inclusion, protect the environment and follow established policies, guidelines and rules. The requirements describe the minimum standard for our suppliers in addition to applicable laws and regulations and the supplier's own code of conduct. In the event that the requirements differ, the stricter level must always be followed. This Code of Conduct is part of all agreements between the supplier and Svensk Fordonsladdning.

Svensk Fordonsladdning advocates an open dialogue with all our suppliers and works together with them to help them meet our requirements.

Supplier

Individual or legal entity that provides Svensk Fordonsladdning with goods and/or services, or one that provides goods and/or services on behalf of Svensk Fordonsladdning. In addition to suppliers that have a direct contractual relationship with Svensk Fordonsladdning, this definition also includes the supplier's sub-suppliers and subcontractors.

1. The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

Svensk Fordonsladdning applies the UN Global Compact and its ten principles for responsible corporate governance. These are the foundation for the development of our Code of Conduct as well as the Supplier Code of Conduct.

Human Rights

Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and

Principle 2: Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

Labour

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;

Principle 4: The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;

Principle 5: The effective abolition of child labour; and

Principle 6: The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

Environment

Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;

Principle 8: Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and

Principle 9: Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Anti-corruption

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

3. Values and requirements

The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, together with Svensk Fordonsladdning’s guiding principles, form the basis for the requirements that shape the code of conduct for our suppliers.

The supplier shall:

4. Compliance

Svensk Fordonsladdning requires compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct and continuously monitors this.

Suppliers must allow Svensk Fordonsladdning, or a third party engaged by Svensk Fordonsladdning, to verify compliance with the requirements of this Code of Conduct.

If Svensk Fordonsladdning finds that the supplier does not meet the requirements or expectations set out in this Code of Conduct, Svensk Fordonsladdning will indicate what needs to be corrected or improved. If a supplier repeatedly or seriously violates the Supplier Code of Conduct, the business relationship will be terminated.
